Nelson's lagoon is fabulous.  A 10 minute drive from the house - it has everything you could want for a day out by the sea in unspoilt surroundings.  The estuary is superb for sheltered swimming, fishing and canoeing.  The beach has great surfing at the southern end and has a glorious wildness about it.  Perfect for kite flying (and kite surfing) on windy days, there is also great climbing and exploring off the beach.

Moon Bay - we've said it all already: the best beach in the world.

Gillard's beach is a 20 minute drive away. The serious surfers go here.  Great camping area and mile after mile of golden beach.

Aragunnu beach is a beautiful beach with a clothing optional section 35 minutes drive away.  The Mimosa Rocks Winery gourmet restaurant is not far from here on the Bermagui Rd.  Spectacular food and surroundings.

Bournda is full of surprises.  A 20 minute drive from the house leads to a gorgeous beach, or a lake, or a renowned walk on the track to Tathra.
